Sherri is a lifelong resident of Knox County.  She began her career in banking while attending The Ohio State University.  After graduating, she stayed there and has worked in the banking industry for more than thirty years.

Sherri grew up in the Methodist Church, starting with Ebenezer UMC, outside of Mount Vernon.  She participated in and eventually was co-leader of the youth group there.  As an adult, she found her way to Gay Street.  At Gay Street, she has been a member of the Finance and Leadership Committees before accepting the position of Finance Chair in 2010.  For the last four years, she has been Gay Street's Treasurer.
