I am excited to begin this new ministry opportunity as the Director of Connections at Gay Street UMC.

In 2021 I retired after 21 years in pastoral ministry. During that time, I served the following churches: Gambier Epworth and Hopewell, Waterford (Fredericktown), East Liverpool First, and Coshocton Roscoe United Methodist Churches. My focus has always been on connecting people and churches to God and to each other. One of the wonderful things about the United Methodist Church is that of a connected system. No church is a stand-alone entity but a missional outpost of the greater organism, seeking to bring God’s love, grace, and peace into the local community and the entire world. I pray that you will use your God given gifts and graces and join me in this mission.

My wife, Becky, and I have been married for 45 years and raised three children. We now enjoy twelve grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. We live in Apple Valley where I enjoy golf and together, we like to spend summer on the water.
