As the kitchen coordinator I am happy to have the opportunity to serve the Gay Street United Methodist Church and the community.
My family re-located to Knox County from the “deep South”, Athens County, in 2000 when my husband Jeff accepted a job transfer. We spent 13 wonderful years in Athens County enjoying the rolling hills and all things OU! (Go Bobcats).
Jeff and I have four children. Our oldest daughter, Amber, lives in Knoxville, TN with her husband and two young sons. Our son Ian and daughter Addie live and work in Columbus; while Kinsey, the youngest, lives in Fredericktown.
I enjoy reading, baking, cooking, sewing, crafting, walking and beekeeping! I am active in my parish, St. Paul's Episcopal, serving as a lay minister, Sunday Supper volunteer and Inter-generational Parish Leader. I volunteer weekly at the Escape Zone where I have an opportunity to interact with area teens.
Again, I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to preparing food, joining in fellowship and having lots of fun!
