Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC)

The MMDC in Pawnee, IL, needs help to meet demands of disasters in the Midwestern states.  If you would like to help, please make your check payable to Gay St. UMC, and mark Midwest Mission on the memo line.  If you'd like to donate, please do so by Sunday, July 7.  No amount is too small.

The MMDC provides UMCOR cleaning kits (flood buckets) and tornado kits to those hit by disasters.  One cleaning kit costs $75; one tornado kit costs $50.  The need this year will be record-breaking.  Mike and Beth Prince will deliver what our church collects when they go to the MMDC to work on July 14th.  If you cannot make a gift of your dollars, please make a gift of your time and pray for those who need relief.  than you in advance for whatever you can do!
