First Visit FAQs
What do I wear?
Generally, worshipers wear casual or business casual clothes, anything from jeans to khakis. Our older attendees tend to wear coats and ties. However, come as you are, there is absolutely no dress code.
What can I expect on Sunday morning?
You can expect to be greeted and made welcome. Rest assured, you will not be called out publicly as guests. Both services follow the Methodist outline of worship with scripture as the basis of all elements, Call and Response readings and prayers. The Word is both proclaimed and explored. In the 10:45 service, the various choirs, hand-bell choirs and organ leads us to lift our hearts up to God. The 8:30 service is more relaxed, intimate, and interactive. On the first Sunday of the month we practice an open communion. Everyone of all ages is invited to partake in God's grace available at the Lord's Supper.
In the pews are green prayer request cards.
Attendance pads are at the end of the pews, please sign the attendance sheet so we have a record of how many people attended church and if you care to give any information about yourself or sign up for a ministry, feel free to do that.
Hearing enhancement devices are available for worship in the Sanctuary. Please ask an usher for assistance.
The Bulletin, handed out on your way in, contains the worship outline, announcements, and a church calendar for the week.
You are encouraged to contact Rev. Christopher Liberati with any questions you would like to discuss. Call the church office, 740-392-6626, to set up a time to talk.
