Camping Opportunities

Registration for the 2012 summer camping season will open in the spring of 2012. Please remember that the church will pay for one half of the registration fee if you so choose. Camping a Happy Experience for Two Ornery Boys

A few years ago,  Levi Rhoades and Nick Tier went to Camp Aldersgate for a five night camp called "Just Camp." They were bunk mates and shared a cabin with eight boys and their counselor. The counselor was a seminary student from Wales, so the boys thought it was cool that he had a "Harry Potter" accent.

They did many great activities like hiking, swimming and canoeing. They played games, sang songs, and had Bible studies each day. They spent one night under the stars in the woods and making their own food on the fire.

When we picked them up on Friday, they were tired, dirty and happy. This was their third East Ohio Camp experience. They had gone to Camp Aldersgate once before and also to Camp Wanake.
